Nell Mitchell is an artist based in East London, whose diaristic practice uses humour, vivid imagery and the written word to convey raw emotions. Having studied her undergraduate degree at The Glasgow School of Art and her MA from City and Guilds of London Art School, Nell has spent the last year studying as part of the ’25 cohort of the Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School. She creates cathartic work using a variety of different mediums, from oil paint to biro pens, which is both relatable and deeply personal.
