Meltem Şahin is an artist and designer whose work spans illustration, interactive media, and curatorial practice. She earned her Master's degree in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), USA, on a Fulbright Scholarship. Her illustrations have been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Applied Arts, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, and 3x3 Magazine, and her work has been featured in over 60 exhibitions across 11 countries. She has illustrated five books; one published in the United States and four in Türkiye. She has also curated PMS, which was among the first augmented reality exhibitions in Türkiye, which combined digital technologies with feminist discourse.
Şahin’s AI-based work is part of the permanent collection of the National Gallery in London, and her projects have been shown at institutions including Istanbul Modern. She has collaborated with leading global companies such as Apple, Meta, and Giphy.
