Gemmarosa Ryan is a photographer, writer, and filmmaker based between New York City and Siena, Italy. Her multi-medium practice engages with themes of memory, (mis)communication, and preservation. Gemmarosa’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, émergent magazine, and Tidal Magazine, and her video work has been been screened and awarded at various independent festivals.
