Gamze Yalçın is a Berlin-based artist working primarily in painting and drawing. Her practice explores space, color, and landscape through a research-driven approach rooted in close observation and material sensitivity. Yalçın’s work often combines semi-abstract forms with natural textures and patterns, creating compositions that reflect the shifting dynamics of environment and perception.
In addition to canvas-based works, she develops cohesive collections across paper, textiles, and site-responsive installations. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including the Berlinische Galerie, Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig, Kunsthalle Osnabrück, and nGbK Berlin. Yalçın holds an MFA from the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin.
