Born in Paris in 1996, Pierre never dreamed of anything other than becoming a comic book author. It was his encounter with classic works and the work of contemporary illustrators that inspired him to create images. After studying literature and art, notably at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, he became an illustrator and a comic book author. The result is narrative images, serene and peaceful, yet where concern is never far away. Light often replaces the human figure. Like a gaze turned into action, it illuminates his images with the clamour of a blazing fire, the impassivity of a late afternoon sun, or the silent intimacy of the bedside lamp.
