Moriz Jung (Austrian, 1885–1915) was an illustrator and graphic artist known for his bold, witty, and modern designs created during the early 20th century.
A student at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts, Jung was associated with the Wiener Werkstätte, where he produced striking posters, postcards, and prints that blended humor with streamlined composition. His work often played with irony and visual surprise, reflecting both the elegance and experimentation of Viennese modernism. Jung’s promising career was tragically cut short when he was killed during World War I at the age of 30.
